Silverback Gorilla Wooden Toy

The undisputed patriarch of the African jungle — and the most commanding presence in the collection.

Hand-carved from sustainably sourced maple and finished in non-toxic paint, this silverback gorilla is a broad, powerful, deeply satisfying thing to hold. Every muscular shoulder, prominent brow, and trademark silver-streaked back has been shaped by hand, giving this piece a gravitas that sets it apart on any shelf. At a sturdy medium size, it's built for the kind of bold, imaginative play that does justice to one of nature's most awe-inspiring animals.

It's as solid and dependable as the animal it depicts.

Did you know? Silverback gorillas share approximately 98% of their DNA with humans — and just like us, they have unique fingerprints. Despite their fearsome reputation, they are gentle, family-oriented animals who spend their days foraging, playing, and looking after their young.
